2nd Annual 2010 National Hemophilia Walk Thanks to all who took part in the 1st Annual Indiana Hemophilia Walk! Congratulations for a job well done. We had 550 walkers and raised over 87,000.00. Our 2nd Annual Hemophilia Walk is up and running, I mean walking! Start today, sign up your team and begin fundraising. Challenge your friends to form walk teams, donate, and support Hemophilia of Indiana! HOII’s Hemophilia Walk will take place on Saturday, September 25 at the Fort Harrison State Park. Registration begins at 8:30am; the Walk starts at 10:30am. There will be entertainment, prizes, and fun for all ages. “We are pleased to announce Jeanne White-Ginder, mother of Ryan White, has agreed to be Honorary Spokesperson for the 2010 Hemophilia Walk. Jeanne is a nationally known activist for HIV/AIDS sufferers. Her son Ryan had severe Hemophilia A and acquired HIV/AIDS as a result of his hemophilia treatment. How to register for the 2010 Walk
Go to www.hemophilia.org/walk In the BLUE "Register, Donate or Login" box, pull down Indiana. This will take you to the Indiana Walk Registration page.
Click on "Register Now" at the top right side of page.
Agree to the Waiver. Click "submit".
Choose your participant type. Are you an individual, are you creating a team and being the Team Captain, or are you Joining an Existing Team and being a Team Member?
Select your Team Category. Is your team comprised of family members, a school, a business, etc?
Enter your Team Name, Team Description, and your team's Fundraising Goal.
Enter your personal information.
Select a user name and password.
Enter additional information as requested.
Take time to customize your personal fundraising page. Here you can upload your own photos, create a personal message or tell your story, and enable an online guest book for visitors to your page.
