2010 Course To A Cure Support Hemophilia of Indiana by purchasing tickets for the golf ball drop. $25 each or 5 for $100 Each ball is numbered and the balls are dropped from high above onto the green immediately following Hemophilia of Indiana’s 26th annual Course To A Cure golf outing on June 24th. The participant whose ball is closest to the hole receives 50% of the proceeds. Last year’s winnings totaled $2,200. Need not be present to win. The Indianapolis Fire Department helps us wrap up the day’s event by sending out an Aerial Truck and taking all the purchased balls up over the green and ceremoniously dropping them on the green. This fun tradition is a great way to end a day of fun golf with good friends and helping families throughout this great state. Hemophilia is the most expensive chronic condition to treat, costing upwards of $250,000 per year and affecting approximately 1,200 Hoosiers and there is no cure. Hemophilia of Indiana is a non-profit organization with a 47-year history of serving those affected by bleeding disorders. By participating in this event you help ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of the bleeding disorders community. For more information or to purchase a golf ball for the drop contact Andrew VanGordon at Hemophilia of Indiana or call 317.570.0039 or 800.241.2873.
